On a visit to the Bayou, Bo discovered Swamp Girl,a mysterious character, who wore a mud pack on her face.(A jealous Billie was, of course, hovering and miscarried Georgia during this escapade. Billie also discovered THAT antique silver compact with the letter G, buried in mud. G,of course, stood for GINA......there could be a storyline here!)
Once Bo gained Swamp Girl's confidence, she was convinced to remove the mud from her face,to reveal hideous scarring. Of all places for this to occur, was none other than Maison Blanche. Surely this could not be connected to the one and only Stefano DiMera. Swamp Girl was found to have royal blood and to be none other than Greta von Amberg, daughter of the infamous Princess Gina.
The do-gooder, Bo, brought Greta back to Salem, with poor old Billie tagging along behind. Enter the man with the heart of gold, none other than my hero, Stefano. Yes,this warm and loving man engaged and paid for one of the world's finest plastic surgeons to restore Greta's appearance. Now the cynical amongst us may say Stefano's gesture was caused by a guilty conscience, but then, they don't know Stefano.
Greta's favorite author is Agatha Christie.
Hope was tragically shot at her wedding reception, after marrying Bo for the second time. She subsequently died in Bo's arms at University Hospital. Lili Faversham knew the woman that died was not Hope, but rather, Princess Gina von Amberg. The Princess' daughter, Greta, was all but certain the woman that died was her mother. And, believe it or not, Shawn was absolutely sure that the woman marrying his father, was definitely not his mother. Of course, Bo, whilst not completely happy that Hope had returned to being Hope, was more than happy to go on with life with his Fancyface. John contorted his face, as encounters with Hope/Princess Gina flooded back to him. However, Marlena, the professional, who had so many sessions with Hope/ the Princess Gina von Amberg on her couch, could only say that Hope was 'deeply disturbed'.
